  1. LEARNING OUTCOMES
Learning Outcomes
Please describe the learning outcomes of the course: Knowledge, skills and abilities acquired after the successful completion of the course.
·        The purpose of the course is to provide students with a thorough grounding in the nature of the soil, the classification of soil materials, as well as the foundation work of a forest technical project or a retaining wall. In addition, the course aims to help students familiarize themselves with the use of modern machinery so that they will be able to select the most suitable equipment for the construction of any forest technical project with a view to optimizing performance while protecting the environment. Thus, upon completion of the course, students will be able to successfully be involved in problem solving situations based on the application of the principles of soil engineering and will have gained the ability to draw up and construct a forest technical project.
